Product Manager

Zoove is looking for an individual to lead the ongoing product management of our StarStar product line. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for quality, sound business judgment skills, and ample experience in  leading product development projects and managing product lifecycle(s). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and managing both high-level product-line strategy as well as specific product features
  • Owning and leading feature definition and prioritization, including product requirements documents and other documentation
  • Initiating and utilizing customer research related to strategy, features, and the competitive landscape
  • Defining products that meet opportunity timeframes, revenue requirements, and cost constraints
  • Supporting inside and outside sales efforts including support of product marketing

Customer Success Manager

Zoove is seeking an exceptional candidate to help both prospective and existing clients bring StarStar campaigns to market. In this role, the winning candidate will live and breathe the StarStar platform’s capabilities and value proposition, as well as develop campaigns for and in collaboration with media, brand, and agency prospects and customers.The ideal person will have a proven track record of developing, and growing business relationships, and helping prospective and existing customers ideate and prepare advertising and promotional campaigns.

A successful candidate will bring marketing and promotional experience, interactive advertising and agency subject matter expertise, and relationships. They will be detail and project oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a history of developing and executing against specific campaign performance metrics.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with leading mobile media, brand, and agency customers by taking the lead of the Sales and/or Account Executive who will be “on point” for those relationships
  • Work with prospects and customers to brainstorm ideas for campaigns, and then assist the customer in the development of live cross media promotions/campaigns that utilize StarStar numbers (ex. **NFL)
  • Assist sales and account executives to close sales, new projects, and drive existing client revenue and success. Additionally, this role will drive prospects and customers to approve testimonials and case studies regarding the use of StarStar Numbers in their cross media promotions/campaigns
  • Work with marketing, product management, engineering and members of the sales and service delivery teams to enabled successful campaigns
  • Proactively develop ideas and campaigns across target verticals (such as Automotive, CPG, QSR, etc.) to be used by sales to pursue new business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience, with interactive advertising and agency background
  • Deep knowledge of what makes different ad campaigns successful, and ability to work with prospects and customers on developing performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to assist sales team in driving and influencing the decision process, and communicating a value proposition to decision makers and decision influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently
  • Strong communicator with excellent problem solving skills
  • Extremely organized with the ability to efficiently prioritize

Education:

  • Business and/or technology related Bachelor’s degree in field relevant to advertising or equivalent experience.

Operations Engineer

The Operations Engineer is responsible for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of the Zoove production platform, as well as teaming with other engineers to do the same. This includes developing and maintaining monitoring systems, running reports, tracking escalations, and coordinating the activities of NOC technicians, carriers and vendors to prevent or resolve service-related issues.

The successful candidate will have system administration, database management, IP networking knowledge and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. The candidate will also have the opportunity to gain experience in the rapidly growing field of mobile communications and computing.

Requirements Include:

Proficiency in several of the technologies listed below:

  • Configuration Management : Puppet, Chef, or similar frameworks.
  • Server Stack Management : LAMP, Ruby on Rails, Tomcat.
  • Provisioning : Kickstart, Yum, RPM, etc.
  • Monitoring : Nagios, Cacti, SNMP, Wireshark or similar tools.
  • Protocols : TCP/IP, SS7, GSM Camel, CDMA ANSI-41, SMPP, MM7.
  • RCS : Subversion experience desired.
  • Linux OS : RHEL, CentOS, other Linux-based systems. Windows server administration a plus.
  • Scripting : BASH, Perl, etc.
  • Languages : Python, Ruby, Java, Php, C++.
  • Log Management : syslog, Splunk, etc.

Experience with remediation of security vulnerabilities (both internal and external) is desirable, as they exist in typical high availability production environments.  Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or relevant experience is required.

 Job Duties:

  • Team with other engineers
  • Monitor network activity, system resources and backup systems
  • Conceive, design/architect, build and extend internal operational platforms and frameworks to automate and streamline operational processes
  •  General system engineering activities, including overseeing and extending various tools and monitoring frameworks, system provisioning, system management, configuration management and security vulnerability remediation
  • Deploy Zoove software revisions to production
  • Diagnose, correct and own production platform problems
  • Coordinate QA and production OS updates and patches to ensure 1:1 system match
  • Gather and format system data both for presentation to carriers, partners and internal customers
  • Perform or assist in system backup and recovery procedures
  • Participate in on-call escalation support and flex-shifts

Skills:

  • Solid professional experience working in a 24×7 Enterprise class Operations environment.
  • A RHCE certification will count heavily in your favor.
  • Solid systems engineering on Unix/Linux to include system monitoring, automation, server provisioning, patch management, low level troubleshooting, security vulnerability remediation and shell scripting
  •  Thorough understanding of and experience in the configuration, operation and maintenance of production RHEL systems.
  •  Understanding of relational database concepts. Oracle experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and network systems including BGP routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load-balancers, NAS
  • Understanding of DS1/DS3 transport, some understanding of SS7 signaling is a plus
  • Familiar with management of Cisco ASA firewalls
  • Excellent knowledge of SSL and DNS technologies would be advantageous.
  • Strong experience with configuration and maintenance of Enterprise class servers
  • Great knowledge of distributed computing environments and concepts.
  • Ability to understand and follow strict change management processes
  • Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers and carriers while under pressure
